Come to our garden and pick a basket of olives from the olive tree for me, and I'll give you a wooden eye, okay? It won't take long, there's lots and lots of olives this time of year!

[The maze is made of green bushes, the leaves of which are little, pointed, and tend to grow in clumps. The branches are well-trimmed so that the path is flat, and also thick so that it's impossible to see to the other side. Also, they stretch upward quite a ways - you can see the sky, but there's no way to climb up or look over the top. If you have any abilities that will let you fly and try to look that way, you will find that a strong wind will push you back down to the ground before you can see anything. No cheating!

You entered from the west, and paths through the hedge lead east and south. The eastern path doesn't look like it continues very far. The southern path continues for some distance, though where it goes from there is hard to say.]

...I believe it is in our best interests to travel together. That way, should one of us succumb to the golden flowers the others can snap them out of things.

Likewise, I believe we should start with the eastern path. It should be quick to determine if it is a dead end.

[You return to the start and head down the south path.

This path goes for some distance until its end, at which point it turns toward the east again. It then continues to another crossroads, where it either continues east or turns toward the north. Both directions stretch into the distance, and it's difficult to tell where either one turns.]
